mi papa viene
i think it might be happening! i just got off the phone with my father and he might be coming in sept! yippee!! tentatively, he wants to see machu picchu and arequipa (where i went during easter vacation). it'll be nice to finally have everything out in the open (the guilt is eating me alive!). i told him that i missed him so much that i might actually give him a hug when i see him...trust me, this is a rarity for our culture; he might freak out. :)

I am sorry you are feeling lonely but completely understand the solitude of being in a foreign country and trying to learn the language. Plus, with the accident it is no surprise that you would long for the support of family. I hope you are able to tell your dad about the arm so that he can help you make decisions. I'd think he'd rather know and worry a little, rather than hear about it afterwards and wonder if he could have done more to help you.
ReplyDeleteWe had a huge hail storm here this afternoon. The hail was quarter-sized and coming down really fast. The weather channel said 60 mph! That is crazy.
